Spelt-Quinoa-Beans Dinner Pot!


Tonight’s dinner pot consisted of a Spelt-quinoa-bean-legume combo! The beans were going at a crazy reduced price and I ran out of spelt spaghetti so it’s back to good old pre-soaked grains.


I boiled and simmered these while washing and cutting up the cauliflower, fennel, cabbage, purple kale, onions, garlic and carrot.

Adding 1.5tsp of sea salt alone made the broth so tasty I decided to forgo the chinese 5 spiced herbs I was going to add!

Sometimes fresh ingredients are all the spice and flavours you need. 😌

I was also so amazed at how perfectly round that soft-boiled egg came out!👌🏻
