It covers the basics of the diet, its mechanisms and benefits. Unfortunately, there are too many autoimmune diseases and too little money to be made from treating it with diet (vs pharmaceuticals). Hence, there is generally a lack of good studies such as intervention trials.
Nonetheless, the mechanisms of how a ketogenic diet may benefit autoimmunity is sound and convincing in my opinion.

P.s. My opinion on eating heaps of fibre and plants is changing now though. Turns out plants don’t want to be eaten and so produce lots of chemicals that trigger immune reactions in us. Just somthing to bear in mind, I’m doing more research on this so… stay tuned!

Hi Youngman Wah! You certainly have read enormous text n research papers on these stuff you wrote in this blog. Dad will not understand everything but u are trying n researching on helping young people with autoimmune disorders (AD). Via a modified ketogenic diet. Keep up the good work you are doing n hope that u can do some clinical trials in the future in collaboration with some same minded colleagues or friends. Dad
